I happen to click on a random ad in the pen pals area today for http://www.PrisonPaper.com

Apparently you can fill out a post card or letter out right there online and pay for them to send the letter out- I didn't try that because I'm too cheap (but really the post card price of 1.50 isn't too bad because it includes postage).

Anyway, I clicked around and found where they sell envelopes, cards, paper and stuff to ship directly to the prisons. I haven't tried it or anything, but I looked over the prices and it seems really reasonable. They also say they print the inmate's information on each item, so it doesn't get lost and they (the inmate) can receive it (you know how some states are!)

I saw a post about colored lined paper when I was going to post this, and they even have that!

Flat rate shipping is 2.50, which depending on what you get is really not that bad.

Let me say again, I have NOT used this service, but they seem like a good place to get stuff.

I especially like that programm for kids to send Daddy letters for free!!!

I have used the site prisonpaper.com It is a great place and you can even post or find penpals there. the prices are very reasonable too

I like the email account you can set up, that way more people can email the same person in prison and it is only 10,95 a month! I am thinking of setting that up for my husband.
